Two Snow Whites and The One Dwarf...

Halloween was a blast this year! The kids got to trick-or-treat at Brian's office and got WAY TOO MUCH candy before the night even began!!! We later got together at our home with Wonderful friends and family and had a GREAT time! The girls' beautiful costumes were again made by Grandma K., (BIG Thank YOU to her!) I made Gavin's costume this year, he looked hilarious!

I thought there would be no way that Gavin would keep his "head gear" on for Halloween. It was actually the opposite, He LOVED it and didn't want to take it off!
The girls always love to be the same.

A conversation with Kambria:
-
Kam: Mommy, Gavin is going to be sad when me and Bryn eat a poison apple and go to sleep.
Me: Oh, really? Because he is going to miss you?
Kam: No, he is NOT going to miss us because he will be right next to us!
Me: Oh, okay.
Kam: But then he will be happy when the prince kisses us and we wake up.
Me: Who is the prince going to be?
Kam: Daddy.
Me: Who am I going to be?
Kam: You can be the witch.
Me: Oh man. (Why does Daddy get to be the prince and I have to be the witch?!)
-
Daddy's shirt was inspired by Kam (no I didn't make a shirt for me that said "witch"):

More of Halloween Past...

2 months before we were married, we were so cool: Brynlee: (little pig, 2003)...& ("Baby Boo," as she called it, 2004): Brynlee (Chicken) and Kambria (little Blue Bird). They were able to be on some St. George news clips in these costumes, along with their cousins, Jaycee and Jake.

Another Great year, (as I recall, lots of post-candy-belly-aches), 2006:
Darling Dorothy's (beautiful dresses made by Grandma Kenworthy), and Gavin's first Halloween appearance, little Lion:
The holidays are So Much Fun with the Excitement and Joy of small children.

Halloween Classics...

You'll appreciate these, Garnet :)
1981:The Good Ol' Days: Couldn't pass up these classics.

Don't get mad, take a picture!

I actually like when my kids play loud (most of the time), at least then I know what they are up to. It is when they are quiet that I start to get suspicious! Somehow they made this mess very quietly and quickly! We have a can-rotator shelf that Brian is in the process of building into an armoir to match our kitchen. We were storing all of the cans temporarily in a big box, not anymore apparently. I think after today he will have a little more pressure to FINISH it! :)

Halloween Gingerbread House...

We are ALWAYS in the mood to Celebrate something! This is our pre-Halloween activity this year:

Welcome to our home... BOO!

Maybe next year we'll make a haunted castle! My ideas get bigger and bigger with every thought! Life is so much better when we find a reason to celebrate.

Welcome little Dawson!

My beautiful sister, Chelsea, and sweet little Dawson:Chelsea and Chad had their first baby on Friday the 17th at 12:44 am. His name is Dawson Foster Davis. He was 7 lbs. 3 oz. and 19 in. We LOVE that little guy (even though we haven't officially met him yet). I look forward to the first time I can hold him at Thanksgiving. Sometimes it is so hard to live so far away from my family, but it sure is a PARTY when we finally DO get together! Hopefully he will be prepared for my loves and squishes. ;) In a couple of years, Gavin and Dawson will be Great friends...getting into all kinds of mischief, I'm sure. Gavin will be the ring-leader (pretty sure of that too). Welcome to the family, little guy!

Happy Birthday "Little" Bro...

Wow, I can't believe it's the Big "One-Eight" for this great guy! I am 12 years older than my "baby" brother, and I felt like he was MINE until I left for college. I carried him everywhere, we had dances we made up together and we always made up silly songs (usually something with the word booger or poo, or something way cool like that :-)
Isn't he Handsome?!!

Lots of love from the ladies (and the little guy in the middle). We are so proud of you Wes. Wes is VERY TALENTED in SO MANY THINGS! He has been the State Pole Vault Champion in Washington for the last 2 years straight, and he still has a year left. He is also an INCREDIBLE musician on the guitar, drums and piano, he has written several *songs and it is ALL BY EAR!
*(pretty sure the subject of the songs has changed a little in the last few years, haha)

Love you Wessy. Happy Birthday!

Pure Talent...

I married into a VERY talented family!!! Last weekend we made a trip down south to check out Brian's sister, Aleisha, in the musical "The Secret Garden." She did a Beautiful job playing Martha (the maid). It was so much fun to watch her, she has the most incredible voice! The whole cast was wonderful...(not by chance though)...That part MUST be credited to the BEST Director I've ever known, my beautiful Mother in law, Dawna. She really does an AMAZING job with getting Every detail just right. She puts in at least 300% into everything she does. I AM SO PROUD! (like I have anything to do with it, haha). :)

"My Dad," by Brynlee...

(play frisbee)
Brynlee had "Dad's Day" at school last Friday. I think it was one of her MOST anticipated days of this year! They colored together, had recess and treats together, and the kids sang songs to their Dads. Brynlee was in Heaven with Daddy at school!
