Gavin doesn't know what to do without his little blankie. I know how he feels. I remember when I was a little girl, I lost my pink checkered (with satin around the edges) blanket at the park. I was devastated. Devastated! My mom made me another blanket immediately. I still have it. I will be on the search for another blanket for Gavin today. But not just any blanket will do. It will have to be EXACTLY like his other one. I have offered MANY replacements to him over the last 2 days, one of them even feels exactly the same only it is blue. He will not have ANYTHING to do with it. It is so sad to see him laying in his crib begging me for it, without anything over him...and 7 or 8 replacement blankets (that he has THROWN) on the FLOOR next to his crib! Wish me luck.

New "do"...
Brynlee and I went and got a haircut together the other day, it was a really fun time as we lay next to each other getting our hair washed (that was her favorite part). She loves her new haircut and wanted me to put it on my blog. So, this morning we went to our front yard and did a 5-minute photo-shoot. SO CUTE!
Kam had been riding her scooter (obviously) during our little "photo-shoot," she didn't want to be left out of the pictures...too cute not to put on here!

You would think they had seen Santa or something...
...with how excited they got when they saw the corn on the cobb stand on the side of the road! Brynlee and Kambria started screaming and pointing and begging me to pull over and buy some. They have been watching that corner of the road for quite some time, waiting for this day. Brynlee said, "Mom, DAD is going to SCREAM when I tell him about this!" I replied, "Brynlee, have you ever heard Dad scream before?" She said, "No, but he will definitely scream about this!" Even Gavin, tonight when eating it, would take a bite and say "MOM!... Yummy!...MOM ...YUMMY!" (over and over and over again!) Well, this is not an advertisement for corn on the cobb, but I have to admit, it was pretty good.

He Takes the Championship...AGAIN!!!
My little (much bigger than me) brother has once again clenched the State Title for pole-vault...3 YEARS IN A ROW!!! Needless to say, I am a very proud sister. I wasn't able to attend with being so far away, but I was able to live it through my sister, Chelsea. I was on the phone with her when he, not only won the title, but also beat his own record and set a new record for the state meet history (he got 15'8")! When he went for the record, the officials stopped all other events and ALL EYES were on Wes! I could hear the people in the background clapping in sync and yelling for him, when he made it there was a huge roar from the crowd! These pictures are from some different meets last year.
