Happy Birthday Little Buddy!!!

It's official...He's 1!!! Gavin is the Best Baby Boy Buddy I've ever had! I had such a strong connection with this little guy before he was ever born, I'm sure that is the way it is with most mom's w/their unborn child, but I just knew he would be such a joy to me and our family. I was tortured with thoughts of losing him with my difficult pregnancy, it was the hardest challenge I have ever been through...both physically and especially mentally! I can't imagine life without his huge smile and his 2 little arms reaching for me whenever he sees me. Love you little buddy, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!1 year old, photo courtesy of Chelsea, thanks Chels!Couldn't have survived it without this wonderful woman! Gavin, 7 months

I guess I'll share him with daddy once in awhile. They have so much fun together!

My little daredevil daughter, Brynlee...with my daredevil brother Dodge (he was very careful despite her requests for Faster and Faster!)
I sure love these 2! My little Gavin with his GREAT Grandpa.
Thank goodness for portable dvd players! Made the trip much more bearable at the airport!!! What was I thinking traveling that far with 3 kids by myself???!!!

SURPRISE!!!

So, the kids and I made a surprise trip to Washington on April 30, and were there for a couple of weeks! I wish I could have gotten a picture of my mom's reaction when she opened the door at her house that night...it was very similar to this picture I am posting. :) We had sooo much fun visiting "Gramma and Grampa Kitty's" house! (Brynlee named them that a LONG time ago when she could barely talk because they have kitties...Brian's parents are "Gramma and Grampa Mmms" because for so long they would give her M&Ms whenever they would see her. My kids have such good relationships with both sets of Grandparents!) We really enjoyed our trip, we always feel sooo welcome and loved!
