Happy Birthday Little Buddy!!!

It's official...He's 1!!! Gavin is the Best Baby Boy Buddy I've ever had! I had such a strong connection with this little guy before he was ever born, I'm sure that is the way it is with most mom's w/their unborn child, but I just knew he would be such a joy to me and our family. I was tortured with thoughts of losing him with my difficult pregnancy, it was the hardest challenge I have ever been through...both physically and especially mentally! I can't imagine life without his huge smile and his 2 little arms reaching for me whenever he sees me. Love you little buddy, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!1 year old, photo courtesy of Chelsea, thanks Chels!Couldn't have survived it without this wonderful woman! Gavin, 7 months

I guess I'll share him with daddy once in awhile. They have so much fun together!

More pics from our trip!

Grandma with some of her little kiddos. My Favorite sister Chelsea :) with my little Kambria Dawn...so cute (and a little crazy)
My little daredevil daughter, Brynlee...with my daredevil brother Dodge (he was very careful despite her requests for Faster and Faster!)
I sure love these 2! My little Gavin with his GREAT Grandpa.
Thank goodness for portable dvd players! Made the trip much more bearable at the airport!!! What was I thinking traveling that far with 3 kids by myself???!!!

SURPRISE!!!

So, the kids and I made a surprise trip to Washington on April 30, and were there for a couple of weeks! I wish I could have gotten a picture of my mom's reaction when she opened the door at her house that night...it was very similar to this picture I am posting. :) We had sooo much fun visiting "Gramma and Grampa Kitty's" house! (Brynlee named them that a LONG time ago when she could barely talk because they have kitties...Brian's parents are "Gramma and Grampa Mmms" because for so long they would give her M&Ms whenever they would see her. My kids have such good relationships with both sets of Grandparents!) We really enjoyed our trip, we always feel sooo welcome and loved!

My Hubby and Me :)

I am living the dream…my dream anyways. I love my husband so much. He thinks I’m pretty cool too. He is the most unselfish and hard-working person I have ever met. I feel so safe when I am with him. Our little sweeties consider him the best daddy there “every was.” Everybody’s favorite sound at the Kenworthy household is the garage door opening when daddy is getting home from work. I can’t believe how much energy he seems to have to play with them after working all day. Life is good. I found an email that I wrote to him from when we were dating. Here is a little section of it:

“I want you to know that I REALLY appreciate you and I count my blessings everyday...actually every minute...because you are in my life right now. You are so patient to put up with me sometimes and I love the fact that I can talk to you about Anything and Everything. I love that we can really communicate and that you are so understanding. I love Your: smile, humor, patience, love, understanding, big bulging muscles, family, eyes, broken big toe, brains, ...I could go on and on...do you want me to?...okay!: honesty, testimony, love of others, righteousness, massages, laugh, Respect, (these aren't in any particular order by the way), I think you get the point. THANKS for being so WONDERFUL! I LOVE YOU SOOO much and I am excited for the next time we can talk...and especially the next time we can see eachother!!! ...hopefully soon! Have a GREAT day Brian, I love you babe!”

I know, it is a little gushy…it’s funny how it seems like it just wouldn’t get any better than that…but it has! Almost 8 years of marriage, and 3 beautiful babies later…it’s better than ever, I can’t imagine my life without you sweetie…and I don’t ever want to.

Brynlee Rose

Is the sweetest little helper any mom could ask for. She is very responsible, she LOVES school (her teachers LOVE her). She is always on her head wanting me to watch EVERY trick! She is very good at cartwheels and is a very determined little girl! The other day I was outside playing on the trampoline with my sweeties and Brynlee decided that she wanted to do 80 cartwheels, yes…EIGHTY! She wanted me to count for her, I told her that was A LOT of cartwheels to do, but she just smiled and said “I know.” Well, as I was counting…and counting…without a break…she finally hit 80…then 90…then 103!!! She would have kept going, but Kambria really wanted a turn on the trampoline. (she had been very patient, bless her heart :) Brynlee is such a mommy and daddy pleaser. She always wants to do what is right, and she is always the first to run and hug me if she thinks I am upset about something.

Kambria Dawn

“Kamarooni Pozatooni” Is such a sweet little mommy, she ALWAYS has a baby…or 3 in her arms. She is very protective of those babies, always making sure that they have everything that they need. When we go for rides in the truck, her baby always needs to be strapped in a car seat also…not something I am usually too excited about because that is yet ANOTHER one to strap in…like 3 aren’t hard enough?! …but I always do it for her because it is so important to her. In fact, one day I took the truck in to a jiffy lube to have it inspected, when the guy came up to my window, he looked at me like I was a little crazy…it wasn’t until later that I noticed that her baby doll was strapped in to the passenger seat next to me…that guy’s expression made a little more sense after that! Mr. Jiffy Lube man: I am NOT Crazy, not too much anyways :). She is my little singing sunshine.

Gavin Brian

My precious Gavvy. Boy oh boy, I love that little guy. He loves me too. He is such a happy little fella…especially now that he is mobile! If it is quiet, I know exactly where to go…the stairs, the toilet, the dishwasher (if it is not latched, he knows how to get it open to all of the FUN inside, utensils are his favorite.) I have learned to put the knives on the far end in the dishwasher. He sure keeps me on my toes, never a dull moment. He also LOVES his sisters…they walk into the room and he gets so excited giggling and dancing around on his little bum. They drag him around everywhere, literally, and you would think that wouldn’t be so fun…but he always has the biggest smile. Things just wouldn't be the same without him!
